And verily there was maps
For people more bored than I. I could be less bored, but that would take away from worrying about this jaw pain I've had the past week :p
The small map, click on it for a pops-to-new-window, big map goodness. I aligned by latitude a little and just matched the east and west borders. We'll see if even John is bored enough to click it ;)

I like that you picked two very outdated maps to accomplish this task... and the alignment adds another layer of hilarity.
New Jersey is solidly in North Korea, while greater LA straddles Tibet and Kashmir. No surprise at all that Seattle is really in the USSR, nor that the midwest is part of Mongolia. Nice touch making Suzhou a stone's throw from Two Wheels Only.
Map dork kudos, my friend!!
outdated? Were there less than 48 states? Or new China provinces I missed?
Hey, I only posted it because Ann asked nicely and I'd do anything for her. Except I'm not naming my baby after her and that isn't her fault.
He's never been to TWO,
maybe now he can go,
since its so close to Suzhou.
how ya' like my poetry?
and yes I'm bored....
Did *I* ask to see that?? No offense, but I think that was Janine. Not that I don't find it extremely fascinating... *grin*
Did ya hear that Susie had her little one this past week? A darling little boy. Seems to be a rush on Sabmag babies!
Loved your map analysis.
I came across this link, a map of China according to Shanghaiese. I don't understand the Chinese characters, but am told it is funny.
