Maybe the last update - some photos

Sheesh, it's been forever since I've been here. Amongst the many reasons are moving, lots of work and Facebook ("blogging for lazy people" - Janine). I haven't done a lot on Facebook either, so don't feel left out if you only check out vfmatt.com.

I doubt that I will update here much. It's more difficult to upload photos and I really don't have time and energy to write posts. I thought about getting a blogging app for my iPod since I spend 3 hours per day in the back of the car, but I doubt I'd use it much, it's difficult to type in the moving, bouncy car, and I'd still have the photo issue.

So, I'll try to at least put some words up sometimes, but I recommend you check my google photos page for any new photos. And there are many new ones . . in the camera at least. You can see some updates in a few minutes. Mostly the Mouse who is now known as the Monkey for the simple fact that she is too energetic and outgoing for a Mouse. And the fact that she crawls, walks and climbs all over.

Time to update with new photos of the Mouse, since she's almost 2 months older than the last photos I posted. Well, not the bunny. The biggest improvement has been her hair filling in and growing out. GP is worried about her ears being more bat-like than mouse-like, so she's started hat wearing to train 'em closer to the head.

At 17 lbs, it's much easier to carry her around this way.

We caught her chewing holes in the sheets to make a nest. Ha! Not really.







She's got her mom's thighs. They are actually the same size as GP's calves.


And, finally, fun food prep in our kitchen. The little fish were tasty, but man those bones were small.

Photos are going up

Everyone rejoice. I was using and sort of enjoying Yahoo Photos, but then they must have bought Flickr and given up on YP. Flickr seemed not so user friendly and I couldn't see my own or anyone else's photos. Forget that :p

I am now moving to Google's photo storage, Picasaweb. It has a nice interface, intuitive link, and the upload is surprisingly fast. I've been inspired to post a bunch of photos, finally, so you can now check out Israel, Beijing, the last US trip and soon to be much more. One day I'll get around to captions.

Now it's time to work on my old man problems. My sciatic has been hurting for months. Everything aches in the morning, I wake up early . . damn, I am getting old :(
